Mr MES FX is operated by Mathew Samuel, contactable at target1007@gmail.com. He is solely responsible for the supply of this software, its support, and these terms. By purchasing a membership you enter an agreement with him.
Mr MES FX is a software vendor. It is not a broker, not a fund manager, not an investment adviser and not regulated as any of those. Your money remains with your own broker at all times and is never held by, transmitted through, or accessible to Mr MES FX.
Mr MES FX is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5: a program that executes a set of trading rules automatically and manages the resulting positions. You choose which strategy engine to run, on which instrument, at what risk.
It is a tool for executing decisions. It does not make them for you, and it cannot predict market direction. No strategy, setting, filter or protection feature in this software guarantees a profit or removes the risk of loss.
Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage magnifies losses as much as gains. Depending on your broker and account type you may lose more than your initial deposit.
Automated trading carries additional risks beyond those of manual trading, including but not limited to: platform or internet outages, broker rejection or requoting of orders, slippage during volatile conditions, incorrect configuration by the user, and the possibility that a strategy which performed acceptably in the past does not continue to do so.
Only trade with money you can genuinely afford to lose. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your circumstances, seek advice from an independent, properly authorised financial adviser before using it.
Nothing on the Mr MES FX website, in its documentation, or in any communication from Mr MES FX constitutes financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to trade any instrument.
We publish this in full because it is the honest basis for anything we say about the product. Read it before you form expectations.
Approximately 200 backtest configurations were run in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester: all seven strategy engines, four timeframes from 15-minute to daily, six currency pairs, five separate calendar years, and every risk feature switched on and off in turn. Together these covered over 10,000 simulated positions.
No configuration tested demonstrated a reliable trading edge. We consider it important to state that plainly rather than bury it.
These are the standard technical patterns from which most retail trading robots are built. Our conclusion is that such patterns are widely known and largely arbitraged away, and we would expect any honest test of similar strategies to reach a similar result.
Win rate. MetaTrader's own report counts each partial close as a separate winning trade. In our testing this inflated the reported win rate to 64.6% when the true position-level figure was 48.5%. Be sceptical of any win rate quoted from a MetaTrader report, including ours.
Small samples. One configuration returned a profit factor of 1.64, profitable in all three years tested, with a 2% drawdown — from ten trades over three years. A result based on fewer than roughly thirty trades carries no statistical meaning whatever it appears to show.
Past performance, whether from a backtest, a demo account or a live account, is not a reliable indicator of future results. The documentation supplied to members sets out the full method so that you can repeat every one of these tests yourself, and we encourage you to do so.
Membership grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software on the MetaTrader account number your licence key is issued against, for the duration of your membership.
Support is provided by email at target1007@gmail.com on a best-efforts basis. Updates released during your membership term are included at no extra cost. We do not undertake to release any particular update, or to maintain compatibility with future MetaTrader versions indefinitely.
Support covers installation, licensing and the operation of the software. It does not extend to advice on what to trade, which settings to use, or whether to trade at all — those are your decisions.
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, your choice of settings, your choice of broker and instrument, and all capital you place at risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mathew Samuel and Mr MES FX accept no liability for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this software, including where caused by software defect, misconfiguration, platform outage, broker behaviour or market conditions. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is limited to the membership fees you have paid in the preceding twelve months.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We store your name, email address, and the MetaTrader account number you choose to bind your licence to. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach us. We do not have access to your trading account, your broker credentials, your balance or your positions. We do not sell your data. You may request deletion of your account at any time by email.
